What It Means to Follow Jesus
In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus calls His disciples with a simple yet life-altering invitation: “Follow Me and be My disciple.” (Mark 1:17, NLT) This call was not just for Peter, Andrew, James, and John—it is for every believer who … Continue reading

Why Does God Limit Our Lifespan?
In Psalm 90, Moses prays, “Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom” (Psalm 90:12, NLT). These words, penned thousands of years ago, are still profoundly relevant today. They invite us to reflect … Continue reading

The First Lie: “Did God Really Say…?”
Genesis 3:1 introduces us to a pivotal moment in human history. The Bible says, “The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, ‘Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?’” This seemingly innocent question set the stage for humanity’s fall into sin. It wasn’t a blatant denial of God’s command but a subtle twist designed to sow doubt in Eve’s heart. This strategy remains one of Satan’s most effective tactics today. Continue reading

Is God On Your Side?
When the Bible speaks of God being on someone’s side, it means that God is actively working for their good, offering His guidance, protection, and favor. Romans 8:31 states, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” This doesn’t mean that life will be free from trouble. David himself wrote Psalm 56 while fleeing from his enemies. Instead, it means that no matter the circumstances, God’s presence, power, and promises are with us. Continue reading

Dealing With the Dragons in Your Life
The Bible is filled with vivid imagery, and few symbols are as striking as the red dragon described in Revelation 12. This dragon, representing Satan, is portrayed as a ferocious enemy, seeking to devour and destroy. While most of us will never encounter a literal dragon, we all face metaphorical ones—the challenges, temptations, and spiritual battles that threaten to overwhelm us. How can we deal with these dragons in our lives and emerge victorious? Continue reading

How Do We Keep Our Eyes on Jesus?
The race of life is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. Hebrews 12 encourages us to “run with endurance the race God has set before us.” But the key to this endurance lies in the phrase that follows: “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.” So how do we keep our eyes on Him, especially in a world full of distractions?
